Melissa Le Nevé climbing on Tom et je Ris in the Gorges du Verdon, France
In 2020 Melissa Le Nevé became the first woman to complete the iconic "Action Directe" (9a) in Germany's Frankenjura. Here in the Gorges du Verdon, France, Le Nevé tackled "Tom et je Ris," an 8b+ (5.14a) route renowned for its 60-meter overhanging limestone face adorned with striking tufas. This line, established by Bruno Clément in 2004, is celebrated for its technical demands and aesthetic appeal, making it a coveted ascent among elite climbers.

We prioritize sustainability by using FSC-certified paper, sourced responsibly to minimize environmental impact.

"I have a friend who is a climber, and he says that it wasn’t him who chose climbing, but climbing that chose him. At first, it sounded strange to me, but later, I realized that I feel the same way about photography. Whatever the theories about who chooses whom, I feel infinitely grateful that I can mix my two biggest passions as life with passion is, in so many ways, more colourful and more meaningful."
